Music for Canberra is a not-for-profit community music organisation with a legacy dating back to 1967.

They provide high-quality, inclusive music experiences for people of all ages and abilities in the ACT and surrounding regions. Their programs include the Mixed Abilities Program, which offers accessible music-making for people with disability; a Children’s Choir Program for young singers; and a Youth Orchestra Program comprising three progressive ensembles for developing orchestral musicians.

Through weekly rehearsals, public performances, and community engagement, Music for Canberra helps shape the region’s vibrant and diverse musical landscape.
