Dogs’ Day Out

A beloved Floriade tradition for dogs and their humans

On Sunday 11 October 2026, Floriade welcomes pooches big and small for the much-loved Dogs’ Day Out.

A highlight of the Floriade calendar, Dogs’ Day Out invites visitors to bring their four-legged friends along to enjoy a day among the blooms in Commonwealth Park. With dedicated dog-friendly activities, live programming on stage, and a range of retail vendors offering dog treats, accessories and more, there’s something for every pup and their human.

It’s the perfect chance to explore the gardens together, meet fellow dog enthusiasts, and celebrate the final day of Floriade before The Great Big Bulb Dig.

Dogs’ Day Out is a free, non-ticketed event. Gates are open from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
