What happens next

Now you have submitted your application, here’s what you can expect.

Events ACT will review and assess your application.
You will receive an email telling you if you were successful. If you are successful, we will send you a Letter of Agreement.
Plant collection details will be provided after you sign and return your agreement.
Once you have collected your plants, your group can begin planting.

What you receive

All successful applicants receive

Bulbs and small plants (annuals) to put in your garden
A Participant Handbook that explains how to plant and care for them
A sign with your group name to place in your planting area
An invitation to join the 2026 Floriade Community Facebook group where you can share your experiences and engage with other participants

Successful applicants may also apply for a Floriade Community Grant (up to $2,500).
This grant can help support community-led activities linked to your garden bed during the Floriade event period such as open days, workshops, small events, or local celebrations at your planting site.
