Floriade is growing! And we don’t just mean the flowers in Commonwealth Park. This year, we are excited to announce the introduction of our first satellite site at Lanyon Homestead.
As well as the magnificent floral displays, entertainment and activities at Floriade, there will be beautiful blooms to see and events to enjoy at Lanyon Homestead, one of Canberra’s most significant heritage places.

Tours of Lanyon Homestead will have an added delight during Floriade. Discover fascinating pieces from Canberra and region’s artists and craftspeople on your tour. Beautiful artworks from this inaugural art prize are located throughout the house.
