Kids Day Out at Lanyon Homestead

Join us to celebrate the magic of Spring at Kids Day Out. It will be a day packed with laughter, learning, and tons of fun activities. Every activity is designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds, from learning about nature to unleashing creativity through art and craft.

Create your own cyanotype print and learn the science behind this magical art form. Get to know the features of plants and animals up close and personal at our Magnification Station. Explore the garden and historic outbuildings by joining the Lanyon Stamp Rally, make sure you submit a rally card and go in the draw to win a CSO Live at Lanyon family pass!

There will also be sensory play for toddlers, rain painting, opportunities to view inside the historic homestead, and acres of beautiful gardens to roam or even set up a picnic.

Grab a bite to eat at the Homestead Cafe or enjoy other food options including ice cream and a sausage sizzle. Timed entry to the Kids Zone is ticketed by the hour.
