This spring, the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) invites you to a special film screening of Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf as part of Floriade About Town. Set within the NFSA’s stunning art-deco building in Acton, this event brings flowers and film together in the heart of Canberra.
Discover the story of Piet Oudolf — the visionary behind New York’s High Line project, which transformed an abandoned elevated rail line into a wildly popular urban wonderland.
Planting like a painter, and seeking beauty not only in living plants but also in their dead counterparts, Oudolf’s meticulously planned outdoor spaces are symphonies of garden art.
Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf
Date: Saturday 11 October at The National Film and Sound Archive
