Q Gallery

An emerging artist from Canberra, Charlotte draws on both formal training and hands-on experience within the local arts community. Her latest body of work, Petal After Petal, explores vivid floral landscapes through a slow, layered oil painting process that mirrors her own growth as both an artist and an individual. Each piece invites viewers to pause, breathe, and find stillness in quiet, imagined spaces.

Many of the works capture the landscapes and colours of Floriade, offering a Floriade-inspired experience beyond the park itself. Here, on canvas, the feelings of wonder, renewal, and joy associated with spring are reimagined—petal after painted petal.

Visitors to Q Gallery this spring will step into a space alive with colour, texture, and quiet beauty. These works are not just paintings to be viewed, but moments to be experienced—an intimate, off-park encounter with the spirit of Floriade that lingers long after you leave.

The Petal After Petal exhibition is open from September 26 until October 9 at Q Gallery.
