Join us for a holiday fun during Floriade! Enjoy a wildflower-themed activity inspired by our ‘Camel trains to steel wheels’ exhibition.
Stop and smell the flowers at our interactive school holiday program as we celebrate Australia’s stunning wildflowers, proudly bringing Floriade to the whole city with Floriade About Town.
Inspired by our latest exhibition, Camel trains to steel wheels: life on the Trans-Australian Railway, we’ll journey to the historic Wildflower Stop, where passengers once paused to admire the beautiful native blooms.
After our exploration, young artists will have the chance to unleash their creativity in a hands-on watercolour art session, painting their very own wildflower landscapes.
This program is suitable for children aged 7 to 12, and all participants must be accompanied by an adult. Only children require tickets—parents or guardians can join for free.
We’re committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience, following the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework.
