Spring Dessert Specials

Spring takes a playful turn at First Edition with our Floriade Dessert Specials, available for all diners throughout the festival. Available for a limited time, these delicious desserts showcase seasonal fruits, perfectly complementing our new spring menu.

Indulge in a colourful celebration of flavour with two creations, an indulgent dessert to complete your evening meal and a playful sweet surprise to spark curiosity.

Poached Apricot & Lavender Mascarpone with hibiscus flower, pistachio crumble and honeycomb.

Fried Donuts with Rainbow Ice Cream hiding a magical secret, finished with fairy floss and custard.

First Edition Spring Grazing Board

Perfect for picnics among the blooms, First Edition’s Takeaway Grazing Board is designed for sharing. Packed with artisan cheeses, cured meats, and house-made accompaniments. Add a touch of indulgence to your day with flavours that showcase the best produce from Canberra and surrounding regions.

This portable feast is available in two sizes:

Grazing Board for Two – $50

Grazing Board for Four – $76

Available to pre-order, the grazing board is ready to pick up on your way to the gardens from 10am. Just moments from Commonwealth Park, it’s the ideal way to enjoy a relaxed afternoon among the flowers, turning a walk through the gardens into a deliciously memorable experience.

Spring High Tea

Celebrate spring Saturdays with First Edition’s Floriade High Tea, inspired by Floriade’s 2025 theme Science and Nature. Available exclusively during the festival, the experience features a three-tier stand filled with floral-infused creations alongside unlimited loose-leaf tea and barista coffee.

Choose between two options:

Bottomless Bubbles Floriade High Tea – $75 per person

Floriade Spring High Tea – $60 per person

Bookings are available between 11.30am and 3pm each Saturday of the festival. Set just moments from the gardens, First Edition offers the perfect way to extend your Floriade visit with a leisurely afternoon treat, shared with friends or loved ones.

First Edition Restaurant & Bar overlooks Northbourne Avenue, offering views of the city streets and the light rail. The setting brings a sense of energy and connection to the heart of Canberra, making it a memorable backdrop for any occasion.
