Floriade Workshop: Crepe Paper Native Flower Making
Celebrate Floriade and native flowers from the Canberra region, in this crepe paper flower workshop at CMAG.
Using specialty and everyday crepe papers we will learn a basic construction method as the foundation for developing our own detailed and bespoke native flowers. This is an intergenerational workshop for ages 13 plus.

FLORIADE MAKERSPACE: Make a Goodenia Pinnatifida ‘Scrambled Eggs’ Flower Collage
Celebrate Floriade by making a Goodenia Pinnafitida ‘Scrambled Eggs’ flower collage in our Spring Makerspace. Goodenia pinnatifida is commonly known as cut-leaf goodenia, scrambled eggs or mother ducks and grows in the native grasslands and woodlands in the ACT. In this Makerspace, use decorative and crepe papers to craft your own woodland or grassland scene.
What direction will your scrambled eggs move with the wind? What creatures will hide in your long, collaged grasses?

CMAG manages The Nolan Collection on behalf of the Australian Government, in conjunction with 5 other gallery spaces that feature a dynamic annual exhibition program across the arts, design, science and social history.
Canberra Museum and Gallery is located on the corner of London Circuit and Civic Square, Canberra City.
Most exhibitions are free, though charges may apply for some temporary exhibitions.
