Community and Nursing Home Bus Tours

We look forward to welcoming all the nursing homes, retirement villages and community disability groups that have booked an accessible bus tour for Floriade. The bus tours are almost booked out – please book now if you wish to reserve a place. Book here.

Frequently asked questions about Floriade bus tours.

Tours will be available on weekdays, Monday 16 – Friday 20 September and Monday 23 – Friday 27 September, at the following times:

The tour takes approximately 15 minutes, but you are permitted up to 25 minutes for your allocated timeslot.

YYes. You can make multiple bookings to bring additional groups to tour Floriade. To do this, please make separate bookings for each tour timeslot. Please note there will be a maximum of two bookings per Community and Nursing Home. If you book more than two bookings through the booking website, we will take the first two bookings placed.

Due to safety issues with having moving vehicles inside the park at the same time as other attendees and vehicle departure limitations, the maximum bus size permitted is a 25-seater bus.

The tour is free. You may incur other costs for your mini-bus and staff if you decide to engage with other activities or provide catering for your passengers.

No. To ensure the safety of all attendees, only one bus is permitted inside the park at a time. If you wish to bring more than one bus you will need to make separate bookings for each bus.

To confirm your booking, you will need to send the following documentation to events@act.gov.au.

A copy of the Drivers Licence for the person who will being driving the bus. 
Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTPI) for the bus.
Vehicle Insurance certificate for the bus.
Public Liability Insurance certificate.

Click the ‘Book Now’ button on the Booking Website and select your preferred timeslot. You will need your vehicle registration number to complete your booking.
