In 2020, Floriade was reimagined with the annual spring celebration moving from its traditional home in Commonwealth Park to bloom across Canberra.
Floriade not only marked flowers blooming to life after their winter hibernation, but also celebrated the community spirit and resilience that Canberrans displayed throughout the year.
Whilst the floral festival has wrapped up this year, Floriade continues to offer the activities you know and love with free, on-demand content. Tune intoFloriade Life talks and activities and interactive Floriade Sprouts videos that are sure to keep our youngest Floriade fans entertained all year round.
We’re working through options to deliver Floriade 2021 in line with public health directions, given the changing landscape surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
A final decision has not yet been made about Floriade 2021 event dates and format.
We’re thrilled to continue Floriade in the suburbs in 2021 and beyond, however the scale of the event in Commonwealth Park will be determined in the first half of 2021.
Stay tuned for more information on our 2021 festival.
