How to enter 

1. The entrant must find a mini-Floyd gnome at one of the activation sites across Canberra. 

2. The entrant must scan the QR code on the poster next to the gnome. 

3. The entrant must open the competition webpage and click ENTER TO WIN. 

4. The entrant must enter their details and the name of the gnome shown on the poster next to the gnome they’ve found. 

Who can enter 

• Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. 

• Entrants must be Australian residents. 

Regions 

For the 2026 competition, Floyd’s family are hosted across three regions of Canberra: 

• Central Canberra — 19 gnomes 

• North Canberra — 9 gnomes 

• South Canberra — 11 gnomes

Conditions of entry 

• Entrants may only lodge one entry per activation site. 

• Multiple entries from the same gnome using the same gnome name will not be accepted. 

• To be included in a Regional Prize draw, entrants must find all gnomes within that region and enter each gnome’s name separately on the competition entry page. 

• To be included in the Grand Prize draw, entrants must find all 39 gnomes across all three regions and enter each gnome’s name separately. 

• Entrants who qualify for the Grand Prize draw will automatically be entered into all three Regional Prize draws. 

• Full details must be provided to submit an entry. 

• By entering, entrants agree to their details being added to the Events ACT database and to receiving marketing material from Events ACT.

Central Canberra Regional Prize — find all 19 Central gnomes (total value $383)

North Canberra Regional Prize — find all 9 North gnomes (total value $383)

Competition dates 

• Start: Tuesday, 25 August 2026

• Close: 5pm, Sunday 27 September 2026

• Draw: 10am, Tuesday 29 September 2026

Notification of winners 

Winners will be notified by email and/or phone call. 

Redraw 

If a prize is not claimed within 48 hours of the winner being notified, the prize will be redrawn.
