Floriade-Inspired Spring School Holiday Workshops
Haig Park Village Markets is bringing extra colour to spring with a series of school holiday workshops designed to spark young imaginations. Children can enjoy magical potion-making, nature play sensory stations and floral-themed arts and crafts, while parents browse the market’s wide range of stalls, food vendors and local makers.
Outside the special workshops, the markets continue every Sunday throughout Floriade, featuring fresh and dried blooms, floral candles, seasonal produce, foraged teas and more.

Feast of Flowers: Celebrate Floriade with Capital Region Farmers Market
As part of Floriade About Town, the Capital Region Farmers Market is celebrating the season with a special morning of regional produce, spring flavours and hands-on gardening activities.
Visitors can watch a cooking demonstration showcasing fresh regional produce and botanicals, then get hands-on by creating their own edible garden filled with flowers and herbs to take home.

The Little Burley Market is embracing the spirit of Floriade with a special spring-themed market filled with floral fashion, handmade products, family activities and waterfront views.
Browse handcrafted products, garden art, floral fashion, nature photography and unique gifts while enjoying live music, family entertainment and a diverse range of food and drink offerings. Young visitors can join free floral-themed arts and crafts activities and enjoy face painting throughout the day.
With stunning views across Lake Burley Griffin and easy access to Floriade, it’s the perfect addition to a spring day out.

It’s a simple way to bring a little Floriade colour into your day while discovering one of Canberra’s newest food destinations.

Visitors can browse local makers showcasing botanical artwork, garden-themed gifts, handcrafted goods, gourmet food, plants and fresh regional produce. Live entertainment and delicious food vendors add to the atmosphere, creating a vibrant Sunday outing for locals and visitors alike.
