Hosts Gillian Fennell and Katja Williams sit down for an honest conversation about their own journeys into agriculture, the surprising diversity of an industry most people think they already understand, and the contribution women make to it every single day – often without the credit, to share, to celebrate and to help bridge the urban rural divide.
Expect real stories, not talking points: the unglamorous parts of farm life alongside the funny ones, straight opinions on where the industry gets it right and wrong, and the kind of warmth that comes from two women who’ve actually lived what they’re talking about.
The session opens the floor to the crowd, with a live audience Q&A giving attendees the chance to ask the questions they don’t usually get to ask – about agriculture, about business, about what it actually takes to make a life, not just a living in Australian agriculture.
