How to enter the competition: 

1. The entrant must capture a photo at Floriade 2025. The intellectual property of the image must be owned by the entrant.  

2. The entrant must post the photo to their personal Instagram profile, tag @Floriade_Australia and use #FloriadeAustralia in the post. 

3. One profile may have multiple entries, however there is a maximum of 6 photos per post. 

Who can enter the competition: 

• Must be over 18 years old. 

• Must be an Australian resident. 

• You must not be directly affiliated with Events ACT or be a family member of an Events ACT employee. 

Conditions of entry 

• By submitting photos to this competition, you agree for Events ACT to use the photos in the marketing and promotion of Floriade both for 2025 and for future years. 

• Credit will be given to the photographer; we will use your Instagram profile name as the credit.

Sunday 12 October at 11:59pm AEST

Tuesday 14 October 2025 at 10am AEST

Method for determining the competition winner: 

All entries will be judged by a panel of three (3) judges. The three photos that are determined to be the best images out of the entries will be deemed winners of the first, second and third prizes.  

The manner in which winners will be notified including the name of the publication (if applicable) and the date of the notification: 

The winner will be notified via DM on Instagram from the @floriade_australia profile.  

Redraw arrangements: 

If the prize is not claimed by the winner within 48 hours of being notified, the runner-up will be notified.
