Paint the Colours of Floriade with Jenny Adams of Popcorn Art

Before the workshop, participants are encouraged to spend some time exploring Floriade, soaking up the vibrant colours, displays, and atmosphere of the festival. This is a wonderful opportunity to gather inspiration, take photographs, and experience the beauty and energy of Australia’s biggest celebration of spring.

During the workshop, you’ll have time to plan, layer, and develop your own original artwork, with Jenny providing guidance and personalised feedback throughout the session. Suitable for all skill levels, this fun and creative workshop includes a choice of two reference images to help get you started.

Join Jenny for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon and gain insight into her intuitive, self-taught approach to painting. You’ll leave with your own unique artwork, along with techniques and ideas to inspire your future creative pursuits.

The workshop will run for 3 hours and will be held at the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, located a short stroll from Floriade’s main entrance.

  • All materials are provided.
  • Aprons (in the form of flannelette shirts) will be supplied.
  • Participants will take home a completed artwork.
