Learn how Lanyon’s gardens evolved from a place of food production and daily survival into an ornamental country garden. Orchards, formal walks, flowering beds, heritage trees and terraced vegetable plots reveal the changing lives, tastes and priorities of the people who shaped it.
Tours run for 45 minutes and leave from the Homestead Shop entrance, facing the courtyard.

Lanyon Homestead is accessible by car, there is no direct public transport to the site.
For those requiring assistance from the carpark to the homestead, a guest transportation buggy is available. Please press the call button located near the accessible parking spot in the main carpark.
