WORKSHOP: Wearable Weaving with Jessika Spencer

Join Wiradjuri artist Jessika Spencer of Ngurru at Lanyon Homestead, for a hands-on Floriade weaving workshop. 

Participants will learn weaving techniques while creating their own wearable woven bracelet or armband to take home. Jessika will share stories of weaving as a cultural practice connected to care and connection to Country. 

Using a selection of vibrant weaving fibres and materials, this beginner friendly workshop invites participants of all skill levels to slow down, yarn, create and connect in a welcoming environment. 

All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. 

Tickets: $50 per person, includes professional tuition and all materials

Lanyon Homestead is accessible by car, there is no direct public transport to the site.
