Join Serbian Folklore Canberra (SFC) at Floriade for a lively celebration of Serbian culture through traditional dance, music, and community spirit. SFC will perform a range of traditional Serbian folk dances in authentic costumes from different regions of Serbia and the Balkans. With energetic music, colourful outfits, and dances passed down through generations, the performance offers a glimpse into the rich traditions of Serbian folklore and the joy that comes with community celebrations.
Visitors will also be invited to join in, learning a few simple dance steps and taking part in traditional circle dancing. It’s a fun and welcoming experience for all ages, whether you’re familiar with Balkan culture or seeing it for the first time. Based in Canberra, SFC is proud to share Serbian traditions while contributing to the multicultural community that makes the ACT so vibrant.
