Só Samba Canberra & Movimento Alto

Só Samba Canberra are Canberra’s School of Brazilian Dance, specialising in Brazilian Samba. Opened in 2022, they provide adult dance classes as well as entertainment at events within the Canberra Community in Brazilian Dance and Education. Their students and teachers love to showcase the diversity of Brazilian Dance and the beautiful country that it comes from, as well as the joy, fun and energetic style of Dance that is Brazilian Samba and it’s rich history in Carnaval and Brazilian dance culture.

Movimento Alto is a collective of Musicians from a diverse range of backgrounds who have been brought together through their passion for Percussion and studies of the Afro-Brasilian Cultural Accents of music. Blending Batucada, Baião, Samba, Samba Reggae, Bossa Nova, Chorinho, Samba de coco, Barra-Vento and many more into a musical ceremony that will enrich the soul.
