Gnome Knoll

Step into one of Floriade’s most beloved annual traditions at Gnome Knoll, where creativity, community and a little playful charm come together. With a range of options to suit all budgets, this hands-on experience invites visitors of all ages to purchase and paint their very own gnome on site, creating a unique keepsake while contributing to a good cause.

At Gnome Knoll, attendees can choose from a range of characters, including Basil and Sage, the ever-popular Truffle the pig, larger feature gnomes, or a family bundle to share the fun. All painting supplies are provided, making it easy for anyone to join in. Once complete, your gnome can be taken home as a souvenir or entered into the friendly Gnome Knoll competition.

Every gnome purchased helps raise funds for local community projects supported by the Rotary Club of Murrumbidgee Canberra.

For those with a competitive streak, the Gnome Knoll competition offers the chance to showcase creativity. Entries will be accepted until 3:30pm on Wednesday 7 October, with judging taking place the same day and prizes awarded on Sunday 11 October.

If you leave your gnome for competition judging or display, it can be collected between 10:30am and 3:00pm on Sunday 11 October. Any unclaimed gnomes after this time will be put up for adoption.

With prices starting from $10 for roaming gnomes through to $75 for a family bundle, the cost includes both your chosen gnome and access to all on-site painting materials.

🌷 Sunday 11 October: Open for sales only (no painting)

Cost: Cost includes your Gnome and on-site painting supplies
🌷 Basil (boy) & Sage (girl) Gnomes $25 each
🌷 Truffle (pig) Gnome $35 each
🌷 Large Gnome $55 each
🌷 Family Bundle $75 (1x Basil, 1x Sage & 1x Pig Gnome)
🌷 Roaming Gnome $10 each
