Submit your painted gnome for the Best Painted Gnome Competition by Wednesday, October 8 at 3:30 p.m.

Floriade Rotary Gnome Painting – Accessible Group Bookings
Floriade invites groups with disability or access requirements to join a fun and inclusive Gnome painting session at Rotary Gnome Knoll!

Accessible Group Booking FAQs
Group Bookings will be limited with the following dates and times available.
- Tuesday 23 September – 9:30 am till 10:30 am
Each group booking will be allocated a 1-hour timeslot.
Please note that it will take 1-hour for the Gnomes to dry after you finish painting. You are more than welcome to enjoy the flowers through Commonwealth Park while they dry.
Each group booking can include a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 10 participants.

Each school or community group is allowed only one group booking due to limited availability. If you make more than one booking, only your first booking will be accepted—any additional bookings will be disregarded.
The cost to participate in this activity is $25.00 per person and includes all materials. Catering is not provided, however there is a range of food and drink options that can be purchased at Floriade.

Open 10:00am to 3:30pm on the following days:
- Every weekend throughout Floriade
- School Holidays – Saturday 27 September to Sunday 12 October
- Sunday October 12 – sales only, no painting from 10:30am – 3pm.
Cost:
- Boy & Girl Gnomes | $25.00 each (including paint)
- Rabbit Gnomes | $35.00 each (including paint)
- Large Gnomes | $55.00 each (including paint)
- Homeless Gnomes | $10.00 each (pre-painted)
- Family Bundle – 1 x Boy Gnome, 1 x Girl Gnome and 1 x Rabbit Gnome | $75.00 (including paint)
Additional Information
On Sunday 12 October, prize giving will be at 10:30am and the remaining opening time be for gnome collection and sales of unpainted gnomes only. There will be no gnome painting available on this day.
Entries for the competition will be accepted until Wednesday 8 October at 3:30pm., with judging occurring outside of event hours.
