Come on a journey through Australia’s incredible, feisty, beautiful and sometimes deadly flora. From the world’s tallest flowering tree to the tiniest microscopic fern, author/illustrator Tania McCartney will take you through Australia’s many plants, flowers and leaves in her book, Flora: Australia’s Most Curious Plants.
Afterwards, Tania will show kids how to draw a series of wildflowers, and there will be colouring and activity sheets, as well as some dried plants to explore!
You’ll also have an opportunity to purchase copies of Flora and get them signed by the author.
This activity is suitable for children aged 5 and up. All craft material will be supplied.
