Join local ceramic artist and bonsai fanatic, Daniel Leone, as he demonstrates how to care for bonsai. Participants will also take home a Bonsai tree housed in a ceramic pot.
Daniel Leone is a Canberra based, multi-disciplinary artist, specialising in ceramics. He creates surreal ceramics that are used as vessels to house a range of plants including bonsai, satiating his other passion, horticulture. With a personal collection of dozens of bonsai trees, Daniel possesses extensive knowledge of their care requirements. His dedication to bonsai is further evidenced by his role in designing and maintaining the Japanese garden at Koto Restaurant near Old Parliament House.
