Established in 1925, Canberra City Band boasts a rich history as the premier band of Canberra. This A-grade wind ensemble performs at eisteddfods, regional and national band championships, and various events throughout Canberra and the surrounding region. Under the direction of Shilong Ye, the band strives for musical excellence in every performance.
This year at Floriade 2024 they will join forces with Spectrum Big Band, Canberra’s top non-professional big band, to deliver a diverse and vibrant performance.
