Get a taste of the upcoming Windows the World open day
weekends during October at this Expo that features 11 foreign missions from
Canberra’s diplomatic community.
Representatives from embassies, high commissions and
official residences representing Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt,
Ethiopia, Ghana, Kosovo, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore will be
appearing along with the United Nations Information Centre. They will be
providing information spanning tourism, study and business, with many offering
cultural performances as well as samples of traditional foods. It’s a great way
to experience the world without taking the long haul flight.
Windows to the World provides the rare opportunity to see behind the gates of the capital’s
embassies and high commissions. See, taste and experience cultures from across
the globe, whilst enjoying the beautiful gardens and intricate architecture of
some of Canberra’s most iconic buildings.
