Learn about the fascinating and satisfying practice of saving seed. Seed saving gives growers access to more diverse, interesting and resilient varieties of food and flowers. It means growing varieties that are adapted to your local region, and saving time and resources by not buying seedlings every year. Seed saving is easy, fascinating and fun!

In this workshop Canberra Seed Savers will show you how to save and store seed from vegetables, fruit and herbs so you have a wide and resilient seed collection for years to come. You will also hear tips for growing the best plants for seed in the Canberra region and there will be plenty of opportunities for questions too.

Come to Floriade and find out how you can save your seeds!

This is a free workshop, but registrations are required!
