Unleash your creative side on this public holiday at Floriade and explore the Japanese art of floral arrangement! Create beautiful, traditional Ikebana with Sachie Terasaki, a Canberra based Ikebana artist and instructor.
In this workshop you will;
- Learn a traditional style of Ikebana using a shallow vase, special tools and materials.
- Be guided with detailed instructions and demonstrations on how to arrange your Ikebana
- Take photos of your arrangement on completion.
- Flowers used can be taken home.
Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned florist or you’re just interested in learning a new creative outlet, this is a great opportunity to try basic Ikebana.
