Trove Canberra, Canberra’s maker-run art and design cooperative, is turning ten this year and we are marking the occasion on Saturday September 28 with a spring flower-themed celebration in the courtyard outside our shop.
We are excited to be a part of Floriade About Town and to be hosting a flower-themed day of mini-workshops in the courtyard outside our retail shop in Dickson. Spring is here and what better way to celebrate the end of winter than spending time outdoors nurturing your inner-creative? A selection of talented Trove Canberra makers are offering activities in their field of specialisation – learn to paint a watercolour tulip, discover the wonderful art of Quilling, create a flower-themed collage, watch a felting demonstration and more!
Our team will take participants through each mini-program and you will have a take-home piece of art at the end of each session.
Everyone is welcome. Small children must be supervised by an adult.
When: Saturday September 28, 11am–2pm
Where: Trove Canberra, Shop G4a, Dickson Chambers, 25-55 Dickson Place, Dickson.
