Sunday Session at Lanyon

Add to favourites Sold out

Set amongst the Floriade blooms at Lanyon Homestead, the Floriade: Reimagined Sunday Session is an opportunity for you to relax with family, enjoy a potting up workshop at Lanyon Homestead and, with every child’s ticket purchased, enjoy a gnome to paint and take home!

All proceeds from children’s tickets go to the Rotary Club of Canberra East who have run Floriade’s long tradition of gnome painting.  A very limited number of gnomes may be available for purchase on the day if you have not purchased a child’s ticket, with funds going to Rotary.  Please note however that due to COVID only a limited number of gnomes were able to be sourced for Floriade 2020.

All tickets include old fashioned billy tea, traditional damper, with a short walking tour of the heritage precinct at Lanyon Homestead. Children will enjoy hot chocolate and hearing about family life at Lanyon Homestead across many generations.

The Barracks Café at Lanyon will be open for breakfast, lunch and snacks – bookings essential on 6237 5268.
