The popular Floriade Photography Workshops are back in 2020!
Run by leading Canberra photographers, Geoff Comfort and Ben Kopilow, this year’s workshops have a new format, delivered across 2 hours and available at two different Canberra venues one southside and one northside.
The workshops at Lanyon Homestead will be led by Ben and run across four of the Floriade weekends on a Saturday from 7am. This year we’ve updated our workshop format to span across 2 hours and we’ve tailored it to suit the intermediate photographer that already has basic technical skills. This beautiful iconic Canberra venue has a large Floriade planting along with its own unique offering to inspire your creativity.
During the workshops you will review the techniques of great flower photography, have access to guidance during the session, and all workshops conclude with the highly valued critique session of your photos, to round out your sessions learnings.
The workshops, while targeted to the intermediate photographer are still suitable for budding and advanced photographers. You will need to bring a camera, anything from a compact camera or phone up to a full DSLR kit will be suitable.
The workshops are a great opportunity to improve your photography and composition skills and make the most of the morning light! They fill quickly, so book here now!
The Barracks Café at Lanyon will be open for breakfast – bookings essential on 6237 5268.
You will need to bring a camera, anything from a compact camera or phone up to a full DSLR kit will be suitable and a tripod, though not essential, is a recommended accessory.
