Worm Farming and Composting

Join Ryan and Zoe from The Canberra Environment Centre and learn about composting and setting up your own worm farm.

Worm farms are a great way to help you to reduce the amount of food waste you send to landfill while producing organic fertiliser for your garden!

This workshop will take you through the practical steps and principles of setting up a worm farm and composting.

Ryan Lungu

Ryan Lungu is the Director of the Canberra Environment Centre and a passionate local food advocate.  Ryan completed his Masters Research in Environmental Management at the Australian National University.  When not assisting the Canberra community to engage in sustainable living practices he can be found in his home vegetable garden with seven chickens and two Australian kelpies.

Zoe Andreson

Zoe Anderson is a sustainability educator and compost enthusiast. After completing a degree in environment at the ANU she has worked in various areas of community development in Canberra. In her other life, she is a beekeeper and a published poet.
